I bought this dress a couple of months ago and had struggled finding an opportunity to wear it around dark and dull Sydney without looking to much as my boyfriend said, a 'Farmers wife'. However I found that pairing it with the right accessories made it possible to transform the look from milk girl into pretty summer chic.

I was completely undecided on which hat and shoes to pair it with initially as I had brought way to many selections with me (I need to work on my packing skills) so over the course of the holidays wore the dress in the two ways shown below.
Wearing such a flowy, lacy and light dress in such beautiful surroundings such as Bali couldn't have made me feel any better and I can't wait for my next opportunity to throw it on.

Sorry that its taken so long since my last post, being in Bali I completely gave into the relaxing holiday vibe and suddenly became very busy doing absolutely nothing (quite a nice situation to be in for once) It's such an amazing place and returning home to the cold and miserable Sydney weather this morning as well as going back to school tomorrow is utterly depressing - I want to go back already !

I found this is amazing tshirt/dress online a couple of months ago and haven't found a chance to wear it until now, it's so easy to throw on and instantly makes you feel a hundred bucks with the gorgeous print, bright colours and flattering shape. I paired it with a neon pink lipstick from mac, black beaded sandals, cat eye sunnies and a tassle bag.

Salutations

For years now my family have persisted that I start a blog which documents and combines my love of fashion and writing with my travels of the world. Being extremely bored with work and every life as well as the holidays we have planned coming up, I figured now is as good a time as ever to get one started !

My boyfriend and I are currently in beautiful Bali which has been amazing so far, Its been such a nice feeling waking up in the morning throwing on a little dress and your bikini and heading down to the beach to soak up some seriously missed sun (which we have been lacking in sydney the last couple of months - screw you winter).

I must say though the shopping in Bali has been a little disappointing so far, there are many beautiful little boutiques along the main streets but a lot of them sell things you could easily find back at home for the same price or cheaper. There are also the countless of markets scattered around the place and although it is possible to find some good buys you have to expect to be hassled by store owners and then spend a decent amount of time haggling with them to agree on a price,  however the markets in Ubud have had the most authentic and beautiful things to buy and had very reasonable prices - well worth checking out.

If any of you have suggestions of where in Bali is good to see or to go then please let me know in the comments below :)

I'll be uploading some new outfit posts and photos over the next couple of days so make sure to check back soon !
